I received my superduper Dell laptop with 2 new 24 inch displays. I ordered a VT4000 docking station to drive displays and have more USB 3.x ports! Ordered 3 DisplayPort cables (I always order a spare cable). I opened the box and saw the installation diskπ; Do newer (thin) laptops have CD drives? I connect the laptop, monitors and docking station and the laptop works fine, the monitors are on but nothing happens from the laptop to the monitors. The instructions did not include a URL for the installation files. I went to the VisionTek website and chatted with "D" who told me to download the drivers and restart the computer after which I could set up the monitors. I did that, NO DIFFERENCE. Since I rebooted, "D" wasn't there, but I spoke to "J". He asked if I could see both monitors in the display settings page (WIN 10), NEITHER was visible. I was asked to wait. While waiting, I replaced the DisplayPort cable with the one I had (not the one ordered here), no change. I kept waiting, then found the 2 HDMI cables and swapped DP for HDMI, and OH GOD BOTH MONITORS WORK (seems like the VT4000 doesn't really support DP (there are 2 DP and 2 HDMI ports So, I was able to get it working for me but only gave 1 star to tech support as they didn't give me any indication that they were really technical (basic WIN10, right click on blank space and url). I gave the Product 2 stars The extra star was for MY troubleshooting I gave the value 3 stars because there are enough USB ports now that it works!
