Review on BagPodz: Reusable Washable Grocery Shopping Bags - Compact Pod with Carry Clip - RipStop Nylon - Holds 50lbs by Erica Williams

A really good solution for reusable bags if you follow a few steps.

New York bans plastic bags effective March 1, 2020. I had to get up and buy reusable bags. I should have done this decades ago but always forgot to bring my bags. With this setup you can keep it safe from jerks if you follow my simple steps below. If it works for me, it will work for everyone! 1. At the checkout (assuming they collect bags) pull a bag halfway and push the pod towards them, they can only take what they need and don't have a huge stack of bags. 2. When you are done packing, place the capsule in one of the pouches. This will ensure the capsule returns home with you.3. When unpacking at home, you can hang wet bags (e.g. frozen food) on a carabiner instead of repacking them straight away. Hang it on your doorknob so you don't forget to take it into your car the next time you leave the house. By then, all wet bags will be dry and ready for reloading.5. Hang it on one of the driver's side headrest posts behind the seat. Off the road, easy to see and easy to reach. The only weak link in this plan is making sure you take your bags out of the car, but if you forget you can always go back and get them. The design seems really well thought out, the only small improvement I can think of is that they have a mesh strip on one side to wick moisture away. I love it but it would be better if most of the bag was made of this mesh to avoid moldy pockets. However, if you follow my advice (step 3 above) you will never have a problem. I bought a set for each car as well as a set that we use as packed lunches. Love the beautiful bright colors, easy to tell apart each set and hard to lose the bag.
