My daughter is 9.5 months old and has decided she hates being in a car seat. Everyone kept telling us to "just get her a tablet" but we didn't give her smart devices/phones/tablets from the start (until she was older). However, we let them watch TV, so my husband's aunt gave us an old cordless portable DVD player as a present. We bought these through Prime before we left their house. When it arrived we loaded the DVD player up and tested it out the next day on the way to the pediatrician. Success! Well, something like that. I can live 20 minutes without her yelling instead of 5-10 but as any parent will tell you win small battles. The cable itself came well packaged, it worked right away, it charges well and everything seems to be working. be of good quality. I take it everywhere and plug in a DVD player wherever I can (it's old and doesn't hold a charge well) and the cord survives being dropped and taken out of a diaper bag pretty well.
