I sweat a lot. I am a woman. I don't want to use antiperspirant because of the aluminum and metal buildup next to the lymph nodes, but I also don't want to sweat or smell. I've tried every natural deodorant I could find: Toms, Kiss My Face, Clear Crystals, etc. and I always stink and sweat for a few hours. This is the only one that WORKS. It comes in a little saucepan, hard, and you scrape it off with the little spatula they provide and then let it melt in your hand for a few minutes and then rub into pits. I wasn't keen on this idea but I got used to it because the results are worth it. Not only do I love the scents (rose! ylang-ylang! juniper!) but I'm used to the formula and the idea of a solid deodorant that needs to melt. I have used Alvera before and it was ok but I had to reapply every few hours. I can put Schmidt on and leave it on all day and I feel good after work too. I will say make sure you melt it enough before applying or else it will leave white marks on your pits but that is the only problem and you can avoid it with patience. Melting takes a minute at most. I really like this formula and love the flavors and will continue to buy.
