Excellent thermal insulation and comfort. I'll never buy a down jacket again and I live in a very cold region - it's ALSO warm here, just like the down jacket I used to wear. It's also waterproof and works great on sleet and biting wind days where Patagonia fails. Four disadvantages: 1) No inside pocket. Will her creation of at least one inner breast pocket kill her? Two outer pockets are not enough to transport everything I need in winter. 2) The square plastic Helly silver logo on the sleeve is incredibly ugly - I took mine off right away. A thin logo is one thing, but it's too much. 3) Not enough colors. White is beautiful, but it gets dirty easily. You want the best selection of dark colors; like dark green, dark blue, gray etc. Tired of black parkas so anything else is welcome 4) Flashes are so-so. starting. I've had my last parka for 6 years and it still closes perfectly.
