Exactly what he claims.
This magnet weighs enough to reach the end of the string (65 feet) that I can attach with little effort. I only got a couple of bottle caps and half a toenail clipper on the first run, but it worked. It came quickly. I love the styrofoam packaging that comes with it and will probably keep it in that styrofoam for a long time until the box breaks. The foam is just enough to prevent the magnet from sticking too tightly to the metal underneath the box. The metal appears solid and will likely support the magnet's rated weight. This is my first large magnet for magnet fishing and I am happy with my purchase.
