Review on 🐾 Weruva Cats in The Kitchen: Natural Grain-Free Wet Cat Food by Cynthia Bennett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If cats had real thumbs, they would both be up.

I have picky cats. In an ideal world, both would be fed wet food, but I'll settle for letting them eat anything. Last year when I only had Mr. Picky, the vet gave me a jar with this particular flavor. "Cats in the Kitchen" by Weruva. She said she uses it personally when the cats aren't eating, so she figured Mr. Picky might like it. However, she is just as picky as he is. I bought jar after jar after jar of wet food and thought I'd found The One. However, she was starting to waver in her enthusiasm for the food/taste so I finally opened the jar from the vet's office. Miss Picky LOVES IT. She has a penchant for very wet food (her other favorite is Soulistic in jelly) and dislikes hard chunks. Anything that had very noticeable chunks or cubes was a "no," like most pies. There are a few noticeable pieces of chicken in this Weruva meal that she leaves behind, but overall the texture is soft and moist enough that she can eat most of it. I also usually add a few tablespoons of water to the food just to make it tastier. Let me tell you after weeks of turning up her nose at everything but baby food and then watching her enjoy and NOT enjoy her Soulistic, it's nice to know that there is another option if your picky- The O-Meter is raised to 11 and she is tired from the food she has been enjoying so far. I'll probably try to get her other scents and see how they go down.
