We've been touring our motorhome non-stop for 10 years and the space saver bags have been just the thing for saving space and keeping our clothes and bedding from musty smells. I still use them in an RV that gets a lot of use and also in our house. I had a set of sheets ready to go in the camper to tuck away until I needed to change my bed and I decided to try one of these bags. Call me crazy but the stars on the bags are cute and made me smile. Little things. Anyway, I opened the bag and put the sheets in, grabbed the slider and started sliding it through the double zipper to close the bag. He moved a little and finally pulled away. It was easy to put back on but is a little fiddly which is typical of other space bags I've used. Tip: Put your stuff in the back and then zip up about 3 inches to be fully closed and then lie down or sit on it to let out as much air as possible so it doesn't take too long lasts. Also move the slider back and forth a few times to ensure both zippers are fully closed and sealed. Made in China, these bags come with a small threaded pump. To use, unscrew the air valve cap in the pouch and screw the pump firmly into the one-way air valve, then pull the pump handle until all air is expelled. At first I didn't notice anything, and then suddenly BAM! The air is out! I really like that it has a small pump and doesn't require a vacuum because I found the small vacuum in the RV doesn't really suit these bags and the large built in vacuum hose feels a little strong for the bag at times. The little hand pump works fast and did a great job removing air and it didn't take long so even when used in a car or tent it works well for sleeping bags, clothes you want to keep dry and even plates or pans that you want to protect from insects. Be sure to replace the cap with a one-way valve and hand-tighten. In my experience, such packaging tends to become brittle over time, especially when used in the RV basement. or under the bed in hot and cold weather and should be replaced regularly. Only time will tell, but they feel the same as my other bags in that regard. So far none of them have leaked or lost their seal and I'm very happy with them. I recommend.
