They save lives. The normal goggles that we received at work fog up very much, which makes it impossible to carry out interventions. I put them on for a 12 hour shift yesterday and they don't fog up, worked well with a mask and stayed in place. Regular goggles keep falling on me and hitting/sitting on my cheekbones and they interfere with the top part of the masks I'm supposed to wear. The adjustable nose piece is a soft silicone piece that can be moved "in" to the position of regular glasses (same nose position for standard glasses). You can slide the silicone piece back and it will narrow the nose area and for people like me who don't have a nose bridge I remove it and the silicone piece sits on top of my nose and prevents the goggles from moving anywhere. The glasses are lightweight and comfortable to wear all day. For me I use them during transport and in the hospital.
