This chair made a great addition to my granddaughter's family room. It matches the sofa, double sofa, armchair and ottoman that we have. My granddaughter is 15 months old and I thought she would be happy with furniture her size but she is not. I should have known better because she's the kind of kid who just won't sit still. Aside from that, she seems very comfortable when she's sitting in her chair and eating her snack or when we're getting those precious quiet moments. It fits her comfortably - she's 29 inches and 18 pounds so I can see that she will last many years from this chair. When initially looking for chairs for her I was going to go with a leather chair but I'm glad I found this one instead, not only because it matches our furniture but also because it's more comfortable, especially when it's warmer becomes - leather does not stick to the chair. Others have mentioned that there is no handle to recline the seat. I like the lack of this feature. I consider this a security feature. It is fairly easy for an adult to put the chair in the supine position. Both armrests open to reveal deep storage pockets. Yes, the armrest is at the same height as the seat when open, but that doesn't really matter for a child seat. This would only be a big problem in an adult seat. It was very easy to assemble - just put on the backrest and use the Allen key provided for the legs.
