I'm still undecided about giving a review on this product so for now I'm giving it an overall rating of 3 with a promise to update the review when I feel it's warranted. I used to have a parachute for my KitchHenaid - I still have it - as well as this new one. The "new" has slots so it kinda hugs your mixing bowl, but no matter how many times I move it, it doesn't seem to quite fit. And the parachute is REALLY HIGH and not as sloping as I'm used to. Also, this one doesn't cover the entire top of my mixing bowl like the other one, so there's nothing to stop any unexpected spills. Overall it feels solid - it's made of plastic - and it's transparent so you can watch your "stuff" as you add it to your mix. But being plastic and clinging to the rim of the mixing bowl and then pressing on it, I'm not sure about the durability or functionality. I really think I like the other gutter design better.
