I ordered this when I upgraded my family to the Google Pixel 3 XL to ensure everyone could listen to music and charge their phones at the same time. So far it's worked well for dual connectivity and doesn't seem to negatively impact the phone's fast charging speeds. The adapter comes with instructions advising that you should plug the cables into the adapter and then the adapter into your device, which seems to be the way to get the best connection. The only issues I've had with it so far has been using an external battery to charge my phone. When I unplug my phone from the adapter but leave the battery connected to the adapter and then after a while (15-30 minutes) come back and plug my phone back in, it doesn't seem to recognize the devices on the adapter properly. I usually have to unplug/plug my power bank back in and then plug it back into my phone to get the headphones charged and working again. I also seem to have connection issues when the external battery is low. My phone stops charging as expected, but this also seems to be causing the headphones to turn off. Overall it does what it's supposed to do with only the occasional hiccups you'd expect from an adapter.
