They were a bit larger than we expected, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. They are still comfortable to wear and there is a small drawstring at the ankle to keep the shoes in place. The only complaint I have is that after a full day of wear (playing outside in the sprayer at gma) the sole came out leaving a nasty sticky glue in the shoe and on my son's little feet. It washed off fairly easily and I just glued the sole back on.
