So overall it's a great poncho apart from a small weight issue like .
I can't get 9.8 ounces out of this poncho with or without a pocket. I get 11.4 oz after unpacking and trying on and then packing again. My Frog Toggs weigh up to 12 ounces in a bag. This is the smaller pack in my backpack and is a lot easier to put on and adjust than frog togs and is much more breathable. So overall this is a great poncho except for a minor weight issue as stated on the Amazon page.
