Love the tote bag and D-ring that came with the poncho. It was exactly as advertised. When it rained I was very well covered, everything in my backpack stayed nice and dry. I've used it twice for almost 2 full days, it never showed any sign of failure. I had no holes, no tears, no defects.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

The multifunctional poncho was PERFECT!

It has a clip between the legs so the wind can't blow it over you, it has a visor (hat brim) to protect your face from rain which also has a rope that can be pulled on and tie securely to head, arms and length were just long enough for me (5ft 7in) and it did a great job of closing my backpack! I am very happy with this purchase, I have run a lot in the rain and it has been really useful.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Low maintainability

So overall it's a great poncho apart from a small weight issue like .

I can't get 9.8 ounces out of this poncho with or without a pocket. I get 11.4 oz after unpacking and trying on and then packing again. My Frog Toggs weigh up to 12 ounces in a bag. This is the smaller pack in my backpack and is a lot easier to put on and adjust than frog togs and is much more breathable. So overall this is a great poncho except for a minor weight issue as stated on the Amazon page.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Still a great product and recommended

Item arrived just in time for a 2 day 18 mile hike. We had to trudge 6 miles through heavy rain. Everything stayed dry under this poncho. Only 2 small downsides. It only came down to my knees so water dripped onto my socks, I would still recommend rain pants with this product. and the brim on the hood didn't fit well as the hood is thin material, but it worked well when folded inward so the edge of the hood wasn't touching my face. Still a great product and I recommend it.

Pros
  • Good item
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Great value for money: luggage and camping gear

I wore this pancho on day 3 of a 3 day hike through the Appalachians when it rained 8 miles in heavy rain and the 2,000 foot descent through rough terrain Terrain and scratched rocks led and branches. I'm 6ft 3in and had a 26lb backpack. Everything above the knees stayed dry, as I expected. To stay completely dry, simply put on rain pants. This system kept my pack and straps completely dry, which only backpack covers cannot. I am very satisfied and recommend this product. I suggest wearing a…

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

I added them to my camping gear to be prepared for the unexpected. The weather in the countryside is often unpredictable and it is important to protect yourself and your backpack from rain and snow. I looked at several other options marketed as "ultra light" but prices ran well over $70 for gear that was just a little lighter or a little less packed than this poncho. So I risked this cheaper option, and indeed, in early August, we ran into an unexpected snowstorm on a multi-day ridge crossing…
