Item arrived just in time for a 2 day 18 mile hike. We had to trudge 6 miles through heavy rain. Everything stayed dry under this poncho. Only 2 small downsides. It only came down to my knees so water dripped onto my socks, I would still recommend rain pants with this product. and the brim on the hood didn't fit well as the hood is thin material, but it worked well when folded inward so the edge of the hood wasn't touching my face. Still a great product and I recommend it.
