The RC210 remote control is compatible with the WC210 wall control. Both use an old 4-way switch that is compatible with my old Minka-Aire fan that I bought in 2003 (yes the fan is about 18 years old and still works). It took a bit of trial and error to find the right remote control and wallbox replacement for my old fan. The RC210 is a newer style than the one that originally came with fans, so I like the new button layout. Earlier I made the mistake of buying an 8-pin RCS212 "learning" remote that was not compatible with the old 4-pin socket/receiver in the fan case. Luckily I found it and did NOT have to replace the receiver base unit as it still worked. I just had to replace the remote control. So do your homework and determine whether your fan requires a 4 or 8 pin remote control and wall switch. 4 dip (this remote control) is not compatible with 8 dip learning base/receivers and vice versa.
