EDIT: I'm increasing to 2 stars because the seller told me they would send another unit for free. I may have received a defective device, so it will be replaced free of charge. Emails are still very professional. I will update again when I get a new block and test it for a while. EDIT 2: The replacement came very quickly. Haven't ridden much lately but will update again once I've tested how the new model performs. Cheap plastic. It broke after the second ride in a car with a phone on the mount. Pros: Looks decent. Only $10. make it very cheap. Halfway through the second ride with the phone in the holder, the part broke and fell off my windshield. This is the central part of the column inside the suction mechanism. If your car has a rough ride and your phone is "heavy", I think this will strain it and cause it to break. The clips that hold your phone in place have padding that's basically just glued on. Place. They fall off the mount but luckily I can just put them back on and they will stick again for a while. There is a spring in the suction cup area which I believe makes it easier to remove the mount to move. its location. I took it out and tried gluing the other piece back together to see if I could use it again. If not, then the device looks like I could modify it with some Velcro to keep it in place in my car. All in all I am not satisfied with this purchase :(
