Review on πŸ“± Black/Grey Pelican Voyager iPad Case - iPad 9.7" (2017/2018) and iPad Air 2 by Ryan Gilliam

It fits and works well with my 2017 iPad 9.7

I like it to some degree. It looks good and has good protection on the back in case it falls on its back meaning the stand hasn't been sustained, broken or bumped. It has several disadvantages. First let me say that I have an iPad 9.7 from 2017. No it's not Pro, no it's not Air. It's a 2017 iPad 9.7 and the case fits. It takes a second or two for the rubber to seat under the main plastic cover. But FITS. There's no glass protection in case you're wondering. It has a rubber lip that protects you. On the underside/where the charger plugs in, the rubber is very flexible and there is no main plastic cover covering it on the underside. Last but not least, it's hard. It's impressively difficult. It's good enough for me, I'm not rough with my toys so protection is enough for me. However, if you're looking for something with maximum protection, this probably isn't it. You can add a glass screen protector and you should be well protected. Two reasons why I chose this case. One I'm a huge fan of everything Pelican does. The customer service couldn't be better, the best on the planet. Second, all I need is a suitcase with a kickstand and rear fall protection when setting it up while using it to watch Netflix while boating/kayaking fishing lol. Also works well with Ram Mounts, so win win for me.

Pros
  • It's great
Cons
  • Some bugs
