OK. We bought this mirror which weighs about 160 pounds. It is not possible to use some of the frame holders if you have two pieces of 16" to 24" aluminum because the frame is not properly designed. So my only option was this hanger. "lbs then uses 2 hooks 400lbs? Hooks #1 or 4 have a maximum combined weight of 200lbs. Well when they arrived I couldn't believe how small they were. I mean you're talking about a quarter size. If you look at the mirror i hung it is 6'x7' i shot the laser into the wall and used two hooks one on each side i had serious doubts it would hold up but it was solid and I tested it weekly to make sure nothing was moving. I'm thrilled because there was no other way out than this hook. Using a tether would probably break the frame. So thanks and good luck to anyone with a heavy picture Or hang up a mirror.
