I've been using the regular formula (pink cap) since it came out. When they entered the US market, there wasn't a huge variety of micellar water. The pink cap ALWAYS left a film on my skin and caused breakouts so I only used it to remove makeup and wash my face afterwards. I RARELY use makeup as I work from home and needed a product that I can use to remove excess sebum or dirt from time to time after the day or before bed if it's one of those days that I too tired to perform all night skin care. (I always do this in the morning so I just need something to cleanse/refresh my face before bed). THIS formula is way better than the original! Despite the fact that my face was clean in the morning and I had NOT applied any cosmetics, dirt and oil were visible on the cotton pad. I just applied some moisturizer and went to bed and my skin looks amazing! I have sensitive, combination, acne prone skin and this product doesn't cause any problems or leave a film like the original formula. This will be the only micellar water I will use.
