Review on Xiaomi Mi Air 2 SE AirDots: True Wireless Stereo Bluetooth Headset with Touch Control (White) by Ada Lipczyska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

All is well, liked the product, didn't buy it for nothing.

I must say right away: I took them to listen to music in training and to go to work was not boring. I am not a sophisticated music lover, purely in the layman's opinion - within this price category, the sound is not bad, but the sound insulation is mediocre, everything is heard through the music in the metro. They sit comfortably in the ears, do not rub, do not fall out even while running. But due to the large "legs" the straps from the mask always cling to them, the headphones fly down - infuriates! The touch button on the right earpiece is poorly located. Every time I straighten my hair, I accidentally touch it and start voice dialing, and the phone starts ringing someone. I didn’t find where to change the purpose of this button, so I had to turn off voice dialing, but it still creates certain inconveniences. And also a very strange charge indication: 99% of the time a full battery is displayed, and then bam - and they sit down at the most inopportune moment. And vice versa, after being removed from charging, it can show a discharged battery. The biggest problem is the constant connection problems. Maybe it's only paired with an iPhone, but everything will be fine with a phone from Xiaomi. But my headphones easily connected for a couple of months, and then the daily pandemonium began: they connect to the phone even in a case, and when you take them out, the phone SUDDENLY does not see them, then refuses to connect, you have to "reset" the headphones, sometimes more than once , constantly the left, then the right falls off. In the end, I could not stand it and bought airpods, there is an instant connection, a convenient indication of the charge, but the noise isolation is much worse.

Pros
  • Good sound, light, hold charge for a long time, keep well in the ears
Cons
  • Constant connection problems, no clear charge indication, inconvenient touch controls
