I like this shape of the dress. As many other people have pointed out, this is a cheap, attractive alternative to other mannequins and a great backdrop for clothing photography. Received this as part of my vintage Etsy shop and have no regrets about buying it. Not only was it reasonably priced and had the vintage look I was looking for, but the measurements are VERY close to my actual measurements. There are definitely some things that annoy me and are often awkward to design. Although it's lightweight, it's also prone to tipping over. It's a bit cheaply built, which is one of the reasons why it's so cheap to begin with. I agree with the cheap design because it looks really nice, wish there were some weighted feet on the bottom so it doesn't tip over so easily. The knob in the middle that controls the height needs to be screwed in carefully, otherwise it will slip out or you will have to spend a few minutes if you overtighten it. There are two small C-shaped curls at the back of the nape. These things are so annoying! They snag on the back of the dress when wearing uniform and easily snag on the fabric when trying to remove the garment. Overall, I like the design and economy of this dress form very much.
