Review on πŸ‘ Peachtree Audio M24 Bamboo-Powered Speakers (Pair) by Laura Huddleston

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sounds really cool for a small speaker system.

I was looking for a desktop near field system for my Revain Music HD computer. I tried JBL Professional Series 1, Klipsch RP-41PM, Fluance Ai40 and M-Audio AV40 Studiophile. The Peachtree M24 is the best sounding powered speaker in the group of speakers listed above. These Peachtrees are crisp, punchy and balanced with both speakers. They haven't been broken in yet, but they sound great right out of the box. They are musical and the soundstage is balanced. I've found that inexpensive powered speakers tend to have midrange frequencies slightly lower than the balance point when singing. Wondering how to add a subwoofer to crossovers? They sound great for near field speakers and you have to be pretty picky not to enjoy these speakers. There are a few caveats, very few. The M24 features 50X2 Class D amplifiers. They are not loud enough to damage your hearing. I live in a flat share and like to jam louder. It wasn't as loud as the 40-watt Fluance (sounds good). If you want more volume, choose the Peachtree M25. These M24s are small speakers and they don't act like big speakers, physics, yo. I find the sound and quality of these speakers to delight me. This should be taken into account when purchasing a smaller speaker. I connect the M24 to an iEi Zen and a Schitt Magni DAC for late night listening to music through my headphones. I have not tested DAC or Bluetooth on Peachtree. A headphone jack on the M24 would be a nice feature. There aren't many reviews of the Peachtree M24 or M25 on YouTube. I'm always looking for reviews and want to hear products. Many people say that listening to this in the junk YouTube audio is pointless. Well you can hear what trash and hot trash are. I have a decent sound system for budget devices. I wanted Klipsch to do away with the near-field desktop music system. There were many reviews, excellent and wonderful reviews. But a Klipsch horn with a metal tweeter aimed at your ears isn't the best idea (although the Klipsch would be better in a larger room or as a soundbar). This peachtree is a good choice for a desktop system. I wish I had bought it a few years ago.
