Fixes a catastrophic failure of the lower plastic clips on the upper rack rollers. If you have owned this KitchenAid model (or equivalent) for more than 5 years, you will find that the wheels are loose and the top shelf will start to fall off. This is our second replacement in about 10 years. Under $20 worth of repairs anyone can do and save tons of dollars on repair services. The plastic clips that hold the wheels will become dry and brittle, especially with many heat drying cycles. At some point they break and the front wheel on the shock absorber comes loose. Unfortunately, the wheel is part of the entire sidewall, with rack height adjustment. But here are a few of them ready to solve the problem. At this price I will be purchasing a replacement set - removing this wheel will render the top shelf unusable until repaired. This part is a much better version. Here they attached the wheels to the side bracket with a metal screw. I can't help but think it will last a lot longer than the original plastic clip version. Quick installation by removing the three plastic clips (save for re-use), removing the old side bracket, installing the new one (carefully aligning the blue height adjustment piece in the side bracket) and reinstalling the three clips. Slide the rack back onto the rails and you're back in business. The photos show that a new rack has been installed.
