4.5 stars. Great buying experience. Item arrived earlier than expected and in brand new, undamaged condition. This size 9 Inov-8 F-Lite 245 has everything I need in a lightweight running shoe: little cushioning, no sagging, very light weight and a rubber outsole with great traction. especially on cement. There isn't much support in the frame, but enough for me and enough to keep the shoe from collapsing on its own. After taking them out of the box and adjusting the laces, fairly thin laces to keep the weight down, I put on some medium cushioning wool socks and immediately walked a total of two miles in these boots, mostly on cement pavement. The shoes look like they've been worn out for the most part. However, the tips of my big toes rubbed against the inside of the front of the shoe as I walked down the hill. And then, on the way back, I noticed that the tips of both of my big toes were starting to hurt on a relatively straight, flat surface. I'm a bit concerned about this, so I'm hoping it will go away as I use them more often. Or maybe you need to try different peak voltages. Also, it's weird to feel all the cracks and pebbles on the sidewalk. Something I will definitely get used to over time. It's a drastic change from my old shoes, but I need to get rid of the cast and start exercising my feet and legs more. I look forward to cross training in these shoes. Update: January 6, 2021: Fixed the sock issue. It just had to break into that particular area. The only brand new shoe that didn't need breaking in was the Merrell All Out Crush trail running shoe. I've ridden many miles of mountain biking in Innov8 shoes so far and they're holding up fantastic. If Innov8 could produce more color options, this would be the perfect lightweight cross training shoe. As for these shoes, I would recommend them and buy them again. Just give the shoes some time to break in.
