I bought this for my granddaughter's birthday, she is small and my daughter said to take a 4 as most of her size 5's are too big! After a single wash it wasn't enough! It's beautiful, very soft and has that great twist factor that my granddaughter loves! So we kept it for the younger ones and I will be repurchasing it in the correct size 5. If your child is not small or small I would order more as we order smaller and their true size 5 should have been for little girls! She has a boyfriend the same age and she needs 6!
