Another reviewer said it didn't smell but most said they liked it so I took a chance. I should have known I hate it too because I have an exceptionally good sense of smell and am quite sensitive to bad smells like formaldehyde in new clothes that most people don't notice. It smells like goats. What did I expect? Of course it smells like goats! It is made from goat milk. It's not a creamy scent that everyone likes. It's the smell of her musky wet hair. I'm a vet so I know what it smells like and that's the main smell I noticed throughout the bath, which by the way wasn't relaxing. That's rough. There's a masking scent that's not too overpowering, but maybe it should be because it doesn't mask the musky goat hair smell. I feel like I shouldn't return it as it's such a waste of fuel etc. So I plan to add lavender oil and hope it masks the smell or I get used to it. The funny thing is that I went to the bathroom 24 hours after taking a bath and the bathroom still smells like wet goats. So I can change my mind about it. I didn't think it was moisture either. My skin was pretty dry after the bath. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin, which is nice! As for durability, I don't know how to rate it. I gave 5 stars because the blisters never went away. If they mean smell then that deserves 5 stars too as I can still smell goats in my bathroom a whole day later! This stuff is strong. Oh and yes, the bottles I received went into my shipping box as all the other reviewers have said. Luckily nothing was hurt but be prepared. Not much, just the bottles were wet and slippery.
