I bought this case to protect my daughter's tablet and it does the job perfectly. Someone posted this and commented that this case works with the Google Smart Assistant Dock for tablets that comes with the Smart Dock. I can confirm that it will NOT fit a docking station with a case. This was a little disappointing as a slight change in case design could have fixed the issue. Overall, though, this is a great case. Case: The case itself is nice and sturdy, and you'll feel a "click" when you place your tablet in the case to let you know it's locked. The corners have extra padding in the event of a fall and as most falls hit the corner it's good to know there is more protection there. The buttons have very nice cut outs that I prefer to cover up and I think that makes it easier to find the buttons without looking. The microphones and headphone jack are not covered, so you don't have to worry about your headphones not being able to be fully connected. There are also cutouts in the sleeve where the tablet breathes, so you don't have to worry about overheating. Although the case doesn't fully cover all sides of the tablet, I feel that it covers it in all the right places. Flip-Top: They did a good job on the flip-top, which has a soft felt on the surface it touches. Screen and hard faux leather back exterior. The magnets could be a bit stronger as I feel they are strong enough to keep the lid closed. The two lid positions are typical of these cases and work well. I love that it comes in a variety of colors, not just the standard black. My daughter loves the Magento color. I don't know how it works, but I definitely appreciate that the flip cover wakes the tablet up when it's opened and puts it to sleep when it's closed. Verdict: This is a good quality case that offers solid protection, good viewing angles depending on what you're doing, and a bit of flair with additional color options. My only wish is that they redesign this a bit so the tablet can be in the google dock without taking the tablet out of the case.
