I bought this set to go on top of my carpet & under my spinbike. First, the printed pattern on top (so it's rough, not totally smooth) is crooked on some of the tiles, so when they're all put together, it looks wonky. I put those tiles in the middle, directly under my bike so they wouldn't be seen so easily. Second, I made these into a rectangle & tried every combination so that the outside edge pieces cover completely - they do not. There is one corner that fits wonky and doesn't look right. Last, the edge pieces come off easily if you step on them - the pieces don't stay together very tight. All in all, I wish I had spent a little bit more $$ and gotten something nicer. Luckily it's in my basement - if I walked by this all day, it would drive me nuts and I'd replace it.
