As others have said, the reviews posted here aren't just for pro amps. Based on some of the best reviews on the amp I decided to give it a try and bought a Revain which has been put to very good use. Although the packaging was open and no instructions were included, the amp and parts appeared intact. I watched their videos and figured out the installation easily. I placed the amplifier on top of a directional antenna on the roof and hooked up the power in my basement between the TV antenna coax cable and the coax junction box. After rescanning, I added several channels within a 60 mile radius that I hadn't previously included. All channels offer excellent picture quality. It was definitely worth half the price I paid but would have been worth full price given the increase in channels and reception. New installation so time will tell the longevity.
