Review on ๐๏ธ Enhance Performance with Edelbrock 7830 Performer-Link Timing Chain and Gear Set by Justin Hines
The timing chain is excellent, no sagging.
Replaced the new Cloyes chain with this one as the Cloyes 1 chain had too much slack. The instruction manual for the Edelbrock 7830 is annoying and doesn't apply. I had to google and found Cloye's instructions for a 3 groove chain to explain it better. Anyone who thinks that the illustrations in the Edelbrock instructions are wrong is right. Install the chain as marked on the chain. Throw the instructions in the trash. I promoted mine because I used the "EFI friendly" comp cams. It wasn't very friendly. When I promoted him, he was friendly.
