Bought for powerlifting. They are incredibly comfortable. + Overall very strong + Ankle support, one complaint I've always had with standard liners is that they tend to bite your ankles when lifting weights. They don't do this because of the lining + The insoles in them are not standard for Chucks, these insoles are thicker but still mostly flat, definitely an improvement + The bottom of the shoe is still flat like all Chucks Don't know about them yet hold against water. If you are looking for climbing shoes I highly recommend them.
