The rim is a bit narrow at the end of the filling, but the big problem was that the inside of the faucet was terribly dirty! Who is looking in? I have made. Oily and dirty throughout the cabin. Took me over an hour to fix it. I was just about out of breath and had already removed the crappy leaky hose from my new beautiful Zero glass filter. They should install a better faucet. So this new faucet delivers healthy, clean water through a nasty, disgusting, blackened, dirty faucet. Please do not buy this faucet until the problem is solved. Otherwise it would be fine. Who knows what dirt is? I just saw a Teflon movie where there was insane crowds and the cattle were dying and the kids had black teeth, so I'm very wary of potentially harmful compounds. Choose a different faucet. It's really terrible and not visible from the outside. I would like to add: Ehhh! Just to add. I bought a different faucet to try instead and use in the garden where I'm more comfortable with it.
