Exactly as described. I love its flexibility. No, it's not designed to stand alone if your large dog jumps on it and knocks it over. But if you have it in an octagonal shape it won't tip over on its own, or like I attached it to the walls of the garage to separate the dogs when company is over, but I can take it off and use the yard , in the house. . The perfect solution when you want to keep pets and people/spaces/objects separate and still feel connected. Have already ordered another of these as well as their white room version. COST MONEY.
