This kinetic sand set is very beneficial. It comes with three molds and a cute little shovel/rake and a lovely plastic tray. I guess I didn't re-read the details and didn't realize that this set comes with a plastic box (I thought the cardboard box turns into a game box). It was a big surprise to find it along with tools and sand. I found the amount of sand perfect for the size of the tray, but ended up ordering an additional three pounds of sand as my son will be using it on the exercise table and the amount included in this set would look a bit sad on the activity chart. If it wasn't for that I'd say it's a great starter kit with enough sand and tools to play with. The sand itself is perfect. It clumps nicely and the texture is nice and smooth. I like to take a handful, squeeze it into a ball, and then slowly watch it fall out of my hands. It's oddly addictive and I found myself staring at the sand for quite a while! Cleaning is a breeze as long as you keep an eye on your baby and don't let them spray all over the house. great set
