Just got this a week ago and immediately charged it with the included micro USB. It charged in about an hour so I went through the pairing process with my phone. Pairing is easy - press and hold the power button next to the play/pause button for a few seconds until you hear a beep, find the speaker on your phone, tap it and it will pair. There are a total of 4 buttons on the speaker: Play/Pause, Power/Pairing and Volume Up, Volume Down. The speaker also came with 2 cables - micro USB and an extra cable in case your device has a headphone jack. As for the sound, I'm not a music lover. I listen to all kinds of music from classic rock to metal to hip hop but probably 50% hip hop. The mids are the most prominent on this speaker and I'm fine with that. I put a speaker in our bathroom to use for showering/bathing. For that it works great. The volume is not very loud, but loud enough. Basically I am satisfied with the speaker. Would recommend, especially for under $25.
