Ideal for protecting edges during normal use. There's a clear plastic cover on the back that makes the iPad feel cheap. The edge of the case looks and feels like one of those cheap bumper guards you get at a discount store that sells 99 cent items at the mall. The processing quality is very low. Good thing I was looking for something very thin and chic and the pictures don't show it in anyone's hands and the pictures look a lot better than what you actually get even though it looks exactly like the subject. I just don't get warm from it. it's just to protect my ipad. The edges of this case wrap around the frame of the iPad, it has an edge that follows the edge of the screen but curves on the side and folds under the bumper. I think it's the little details that drive me crazy. But if it works in your price range, just note that there's no warmth to the design and feel. ...or maybe that's what you're looking for, but I was a bit disappointed. Oh, also because the sides (or part of the bumper) are made of glossy semi-hard silicone, the magnetism of my Apple Pencils seems weak and it doesn't charge that well in this case. I have an iPad Pro 12.9 2020. Pressing the power or volume down button is also a bit tricky. Hope that helps.
