Printer failure on HP 6700 after installing printer cartridges

I was very happy to purchase this ink after reading the reviews. So tired of paying $70-80 for printer ink. Well after installing the ink my printer does not work and I get an error message saying the printer has failed. Keeps telling me to turn the device off and on again. After I do that it throws the same error. Very annoying. Is customer service even available to help?
