I bought this to replace my 2004 Cybershot which runs out 3.2MP <TAPS please>. The price for it is even lower than what I paid in 2004: I also prefer the AA battery function: it makes refilling dead batteries much easier. Now that I have it, I understand why the price is below the 2004 price of $165: the camera has no sound. Therefore, no one benefits from testing volume levels. Hence -.5 on my rating. Otherwise it would be a 5 star car. HD PC video playback is excellent: no graininess, smooth image transitions (get a fast SD card: don't splurge on a few bucks), great audio capture; it is very professional. The BEEP focus indicator is great for taking photos; Beep #1, when half-pressed, tells you they're in focus; Keep pressing and there will be another beep indicating the press has engaged the shutter. BONUS is what is built into it; something that was never mentioned in the promo: 6GB of native memory! THE GOALKEEPER! This compensates for the lack of sound reproduction. It was very easy to set up. I am very happy that I received it. Enjoy shopping!
