limited but functional

as these appear to be some point and shoot cameras that still run on AA batteries, I originally ordered these to use eneloops from previous devices. at least spare parts are readily available; If the batteries run out, simply insert any pair of AA batteries. not much in terms of manual settings as it offers a lot of automatic settings and megapixel size options. I haven't figured out how to get the image stabilization to work properly either. One thing I like is that it can use SD cards and Pro

Best Value Digital Camera

I have two other Sony Cyber-shot cameras that I am very happy with. So when I needed an extra pocket camera, it was an easy decision. I really like the large screen on this camera, and the ease of setup means less hassle and more point-and-shoot. In fact, I grabbed this camera more often than my old Cyber-shot, which has more features. I've only had one problem in three weeks of frequent use. I bought this to replace my 2004 Cybershot which runs out 3.2MP <TAPS please>. The price for it is even lower than what I paid in 2004: I also prefer the AA battery function: it makes refilling dead batteries much easier. Now that I have it, I understand why the price is below the 2004 price of $165: the camera has no sound. Therefore, no one benefits from testing volume levels. Hence -.5 on my rating.
