Let me start by not claiming that I received this unit for free from Tranesca as part of their testing club but was under no obligation to leave a review. When you take this charging station out of the box, you notice the build quality. Unlike some other Versa 2 chargers, this one is made of metal and is very well balanced. The USB cable connects to any charger and the Versa 2 simply slides into the charging cradle. In addition to the Versa 2 stand, there is a phone holder that allows you to charge your phone using a second USB cable. Both cables can be routed through the holes in the stand to keep the cables tidy on the table. The phone stand supports the phone without removing it from its protective case, although there is a caveat. If you have your finger on the back of the case, you'll have to rotate it so the phone is flush with the stand while charging. The stand is so well balanced that you can even charge your tablet by laying it on its side in the phone stand. So here are the key points to remember: 1. Very well done. Uses metal, not plastic.2. Excellent balance. You can place the tablet when you put it on its side.3. The Versa 2 charging cradle is integrated into the charging cradle.4. The phone stand is suitable for any phone.
