Ordered this cable almost a year ago (11 months to be exact). I have a 12 foot cable to work with. My computer is on the floor and the headphone cord is not long enough. The reason I got 12ft is because I wanted the cord to have enough slack so if I had to flip to the other side of my desk (L shaped desk) I could do it with enough length so that there was no chance The wires were shorted due to the cable being pulled. When I received the cable I plugged it in and it worked great. I didn't have to worry about it being pulled out from one side of my desk to the other. I could hear both sides of my headphones and the sound was just as good as if I had my headphones plugged directly into my computer. Now I'm playing the jigsaw game. You know that. I can't hear in headphones in one ear, I'm moving the wire, I can't hear in the other ear, I'm moving the wire, I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING AT ALL!... I'm moving the wire, I can hear in both Ears, I get up from under the table, I can't hear anything in one ear, I bang my head on the table several times and curse. Before anyone asks, I've tried several headphones and had the same issue on both my phone and my laptop. I gave this cable 2 stars for the following reasons: 1. It is long enough for my needs.2. The price is pretty low.
