What's wrong with these jars: 1. They are "slightly" taller than 6 inches and large enough to require a lot of force (with little damage to drywall) to insert into a hole be cut with a 6" drill bit specially designed for installing light bulbs. Hole Saw I've installed HUNDREDS of old style cans and new style LED lights without ZERO spacing cans. This oversize also means you will DAMAGE the blanket if you have to remove it.2. They are hardwired between the LED driver/box j and the lamp itself. All other brands I've seen or installed come with a small threaded connector between the light and the jbox. AKA if you have a blown lightbulb you can just pull it out, disconnect it and put in a new one. You don't need to reconnect jbox. Driver failure is one thing, but with these lights it's not an option, nor is changing the color temperature by replacing another temperature LED from the same manufacturer.3. After 1 week of operation, 2 out of 8 LEDs started not turning on intermittently.4. After 1 month these 2 LEDs stopped working.5. After 6-8 months, 6 out of 8 LEDs stopped working.6. A year later, all 8 had to be replaced, the last 2 no longer switch reliably. Sometimes when you toggle the switch on and off, two of them will light up for a short time, but that's unacceptable. All of these lamps are connected to the same circuit, the same switch in the same house is set for the same time. than another set of 12 from another manufacturer and NONE of those other LEDs have failed. Lamps from other manufacturers burn longer every day and switch on and off more frequently than these. This leads to one conclusion: it's garbage. AVOID.
