Review on ๐ŸŒง๏ธ Alpinestars Ridge v2 Waterproof Boots: Embrace Dry & Durable Footwear by Dave Hunt

Comfort and support

I bought these to use on my TransAmerica Trail adventure on my KLR650 and needed a good boot for riding, but they would be comfortable and practical for the hiking portion as I wouldn't pack other shoes due to the weight . and space and I have to admit this shoe fit the bill. My feet never got cold in the 40 degree parts of the trip and never overheated during the trip to Moab in June. Walking comfort is quite acceptable. I would recommend ordering half a size larger. Give your thumb a little more room. When I ordered these I didn't have time to go up to the next size so I was just concerned with the tightness. The only thing I can fault is that the velcro isn't as grippy as it used to be and my shifter on this foot is already worn through the top 1st layer. I would definitely buy them again when the time came for a replacement.
