I just imagined a memory foam rug that would very similar to the one i had before (which was a serta topper of such a decent quality) with some essential oils sprayed on it this is way better than i expected love how they put it in Made two separate items.Memory foam topper followed by a lavender scented slip on pouch.First a memory foam topper.It's good quality and pretty much what I expected,a good quality large roll of memory Foam, sealed and rolled up that's exactly what you get, if you've bought one of these before from a decent brand they are very similar in my experience, I was able to easily line it up with my mattress and the sheet slide over it without help, although it does have some weight so some might need a little help to unfold and align it. Another thing that worried me was the thickness. 3 inches seemed a bit thinner than my previous cover, although it was actually enough for me. I have a fairly new pillow top mattress, so if I were to put it on top of an old bed I might go for something thicker. But the quality of the memory foam also stands out. It didn't have the sticky feel that some memory foams have. I also feel like it's a bit heavy for a 3 inch topper in a good way. The lid is really the highlight of this topper. I was incredibly happy with this case when I opened it up and felt how soft it is. It's a bit like microfiber/sportswear but much softer. What I like about this material, besides its softness, is how well it wicks moisture. One of the biggest disadvantages of memory foam has always been that it tends to retain heat. I have to say that this cover goes a long way in keeping heat out and preventing sweating. It's also what smells good as I don't smell memory foam. The lid doesn't have a strong smell at all. In fact, I was a little disappointed with how light the scent is. I'm not very sensitive to smells, others may find this ideal. For example, my roommate lay on it and mentioned that lavender is just the thing. I have found using a lavender or eucalyptus pillow spray with this cover is very relaxing. Overall, I really like this case, and I also like the slip-on case that accompanies the memory foam. I think it's a bit overpriced, but this is probably the best mattress topper I've personally had, so I think there's justification for the price. I would buy another of these after using this one because I'm not sure I'll ever want to go back to what I had before and what I had was decent coverage.
