So I'm a coffee snub and LOVE drinking coffee like 3-4 cups a day. I prefer whole beans, use a grinder and espresso machine, and mostly make americanos (espresso + water), sometimes lattes. But I don't like adding anything other than water because I want to taste the coffee. I often buy fancy coffee from a local roaster, when it's fresh it's very different, and I also pick up bags from Amazon, mostly for patrons who aren't as interested in coffee as I am and for me, around different brands to try. I've probably tried at least 30-40 different Amazon options over the years and this one took first place for me. The beans were initially very oily, which is rare to find on Amazon as they are often older and dried out by then, but they arrived so oily, as if they had just been roasted. When I opened the bag it was like Mike Tyson had slapped me in the face with a coffee bean, again very flavorful which is what I usually get with my fancy coffee from the local roaster. I ordered another bag to try again to see if I got lucky or if this is normal. I've tried the Fog Chaser and now Pete's Espresso
