A Thing of Joy best in Radios

I read a few ONE STAR reviews to understand what all the hate is about because so far I think this product is the best that I've ever seen I knew I wanted digital radio. Fumbling with the dial to change stations is awkward and slow, and it feels like you'll never be able to get a station right. This was a REQUIRED feature for me and SONY delivered with flying colors. There are FIVE preset station buttons that make it easy to switch from station to station. Assigning a station to each button is also very easy. Simply press and hold any of the five preset buttons for a few seconds and the station will lock. An added little bonus is the DIGITAL CLOCK, which is pretty easy to set up too. I had to study the instructions for a moment to do this, but it just requires holding down the CLOCK button for a few seconds and then using the adjustment buttons to enter the correct time. Without looking at the instructions I found a SWITCH on the side that LOCKS all the buttons on the front of the unit including the POWER BUTTON. Next to this switch is the DIAL, which adjusts the volume. I only started using this device today, so I cannot adequately challenge those who claim that their devices are NOT WORKING after 30 DAYS. I can tell you that I have never bought a SONY product anywhere. As a rule, SONY products are outdated for me long before that, like the first WALKMAN that played CDs. The thing had a weight and a block size. Ah, those were the good old days.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
