Review on Epica Strongest Heavy Duty Shower Curtain by Carrie Johnson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The smell is not bad at all

The smell is not bad at all. Some of the reviews I read exaggerate the smell completely gone 2-3 times max. Anyway, I only used this curtain for about 2-3 weeks. Of course, the curtain shows no signs of mold and has not become sweaty. It's just too early to check. The reason I give this 3 stars is because it has no magnets or suction cups. The seller's post clearly states that you don't need magnets with his curtain due to its weight holding the curtain in place. I read it and believed it. It's not relevant. As with most tubs, they are folded in at the ends. This curve leaves a gap for water to enter. Every time I shower I have to gently adjust the curve of the tub so it conforms to the shape and stays in place. I have to do this on both ends so the water doesn't splash out of the tub. So I can make a habit of it, but when relatives come (once every 1.5 months), you can imagine what kind of water is produced. If this curtain maker would just add magnets, or even better, suction cups, this curtain would be complete. Hopefully its mildew resistance will last remarkably longer than my precious curtains. Only then will I consider giving it 4 stars.

Pros

Cons
  • Some bugs
