I use it with a Microsoft Surface Book 2, the screen/tablet has a separate battery, which makes the entire car heavy at the top/back. The center of gravity becomes so to the rear tended to tip the entire rig over. To keep the unit stable I had to lean all the way forward and tighten the hex bolt to the max (effectively locking the tilt adjustment). The top plate should have an extra set or two of locating holes (see Image as a possible suggestion) or some sort of Y-axis indexing that allows the user to slide the platter forward (and bring the OPEN laptop's center of gravity closer to vertical. Z-axis) Build quality is top-notch and complements the Surface very well.Before you ask - the height adjustment requires two hands but is comfortable and clicks in uniquely that Yaw is perfectly satisfactory/solid.
